This series is very special to me because it represents my deep dive into the healing power of colour.

While my black and white work often comes from a place of neutral observation, these works are a courageous defiance against my own darkness.  Paradoxically, I reach for these bright colours in the moments when the shadows of sadness or pain begin to loom. I use the energy of the colour to transform my own emotional state. This process of colour therapy is my way to breathe when the air feels heavy.
